11/10/ · So am I trying to download a mod on the A3 launcher called All In ARMA Terrain Pack () to play on an Exile server but everytime I try it it downloads for a bit and then the A3 launcher crashes with the message " There has been an error" or something to that effect. So I fire up the A3 launcher again, go to mods, and find the one im trying to download ArmA 3 not recognising I have downloaded mods. DISCUSSION I went to my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\, where the A3 mods are kept, and I have all my mods installed fully but the game seems to think they're not downloaded so I can't launch them I am trying to download some mods through a3 launcher to play Exile with my friends but they arent downloading. After clicking the "download mods" button next to the server we wanted to join it started the downloads but it is not progressing. Under the "Mods" tab the mods that are to be downloaded have a gray bar and say "waiting" but they

I have watched all of the videos from the people they said to watch, and countless others. I have uninstalled a3 launcher mods not downloading launcher and uninstalled 7d2d in my steam library.
so when I go to download the mod the the launcher fades to a grey color like its thinking. but its not doing anything. now if I close mod launcher and reopen it, it shows the mod is downloaded. so under installed mods it says ravenhearst 5 5 final A17 4 edition. so I can choose the options for GO TO, PLAY, or uninstall.
I can select go to and it opens the downloading screen where I can pre-sync mod delete it or play, a3 launcher mods not downloading. when I press play it only loads the vanilla version. if I hit pre-sync it does the same thing as when I download the mod. it goes back to a faded grey screen. so it will say syncing performing full cloning of bluh bluh bluh. but it still is not doing anything. ok so now as I am typing it it did fully a3 launcher mods not downloading whatever it needed to and I was able to play the mod.
however before it ACTUALLY started working and like 6hrs of trying to figure it out. when it was pre-syncing the mod and I pressed play after the syn it would pop up a error saying couldn't load mono or something or another.
also or when I would press play it would say "there is already a mod file but it wasn't fully downloaded, would you like to uninstall and re-download the mod. so now that its working I have no idea what I did correctly or what I did incorrectly. like I said I deleted all saves, I uninstalled and re-installed dozens of times.
so I still want to post this just incase anyone is having the same issue and really cant find an answer hopefully this was a good enough a3 launcher mods not downloading problem that someone can help with and also if anyone or myself has this issue in the future.
But like I said it is working now and I have no idea how or why. Thank you for anyone that can help and good luck to whoever needs it. ok so it didn't work loading the title screen worked, however when I created a new game it would say loading blocks, than the screen went black and kicked me to my desktop. 18/12/ · Except that the mods are showing up as installed in the launcher, but do not actually show up in the documents/mod folder and dont work in game. Essentially downloading the mods goes to steam/workshop folder but are not being moved. I have tried reinstalling steam and EU4 I have tried unenabling and reinabling the steam sync If you just put that mod into the directory that A3Launcher uses and then tell it to download the mod, it will detect that you already have it. I don't know when the last time was that you tried using mods without third party software, but it is really easy now that Arma got an official launcher. 1 30/12/ · Joined: June 12, Posted December 30, I checked my A3Launcher and it appears newly subscribed mods or updated mods are not downloading.
